Open Day - Build a Bear on 23rd August 2025
At our premium school in Doha, students enrich their learning journey experience through visual art, music, and performing art classes woven into the curriculum, from Kindergarten to graduation.
Through artistic expression and stage performances, students build confidence, problem-solving abilities, and creative thinking skills that benefit students across all areas of learning and support their personal expression and artistic growth.

Students access specialist classes in Visual arts and Music from Kindergarten, integrating Performing arts from Middle School, discovering their passions, nurturing talents, and becoming experts in their crafts when they reach their graduation.
Students pursue excellence in their chosen artistic discipline guided by qualified professionals with a wealth of global experience in teaching visual arts, music, and performing arts.
Students explore a wide variety of artistic techniques, tools, materials, and styles, being inspired by the masters who shaped the history of art to find their own way of expression and develop knowledgeable visual literacy.
Learners become skilled musical practitioners, starting their journey discovering about the basics of music theory and practice, and moving onto mastering an instrument of choice and building expertise in ensemble work, music technology, and composition.
Students grow as performers discovering the world of acting and owning the stage through performances that combine music, drama, and dance, giving life to engaging shows that demonstrate their confidence and talents.
Students work toward LAMDA qualifications, acquiring transferable skills, knowledge, and credits to access universities worldwide, including the UK and the US.
Students regularly take part in school productions like Matilda, Shrek, and The Wizard of Oz as well as musical assemblies, our annual Talent Show, the school orchestra, and open mic exhibitions to show off their talents.
Students start their journeys exploring various materials and techniques including drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture, developing creativity, fine motor skills, and visual expression. Through engaging projects, they learn art elements and discover artists from diverse cultures and periods.
Middle School students build foundational drawing skills, experiment with media like oil and chalk pastels and paint, and learn processes like clay work and printmaking.
In High School, learners refine technical skills, explore color theory in greater depth, and engage in independent, concept-driven work, developing critical thinking and visual literacy while discovering their own personal style.
In Kindergarten and Primary School students engage in weekly sessions exploring singing, rhythm, music theory, instruments, and movement. They play recorder, ukulele, keyboard, and percussion, and discover musical styles from classical to world music. Storytelling through music and Makaton signing support communication and inclusion.
In Middle School, learners delve into ensemble performance, music theory, and composition, building foundational skills and embracing getting better, being resilient, and communicating effectively.
High School students refine their musicianship through specialized pathways  including instrumental performance, music technology, and advanced ensemble work, nurturing creativity and preparing for university-level study or lifelong passion.
From Secondary School students are introduced to our Performing Arts program, where every learner fosters creativity, collaboration, empathy, teamwork, and confidence through a combination of drama, dance, and music performances.
Students explore a range of performance styles, develop key stagecraft skills, and deepen their understanding of storytelling and self-expression.
Our community is full of opportunities to showcase talent through school productions, performances, and events. From devising original scripts and choreographing routines to mastering vocal technique and musical theatre, learners take creative risks and grow as performers.
Students can earn internationally recognized London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) qualifications, as our school is an accredited examination center. These qualifications align with UCAS Tariff Points and American Common Core standards, supporting global university applications, including the UK and the US.Through LAMDA lessons, students develop essential life skills like confidence, communication, creativity, empathy, and resilience. These skills help students express themselves clearly and speak confidently in any setting, fostering articulate and self-assured individuals.

A versatile and intimate performance space designed for experimental theatre, rehearsals, and small-scale productions. The flexible layout allows students to engage in dynamic, immersive performances that push the boundaries of traditional stagecraft.
Our 850-seat theater is the biggest in Qatar, fully equipped to provide a professional stage environment for major school productions, concerts, and community events. Complete with stage lighting, sound systems, and tiered seating, it offers students the chance to experience performing in a real-world theater setting.
A dedicated space for drama, dance, and movement classes, the Performing Arts Room is where students refine their craft, rehearse for performances, and collaborate on creative projects. It’s an adaptable space that supports a wide range of performing arts activities.
A suite of soundproof practice rooms with professional-grade spaces that allow students to develop their musical talents in a focused environment, whether they are practicing solo, working in small ensembles, or recording original compositions.

Brennan Jones
Angela is a passionate Music Educator who spent the last eleven years teaching in prestigious schools in Portugal and recently Doha. Her music students have won national and international prizes in competitions such as the Qatar Music Competition and Strings Category (Violin). Her students have always achieved great marks in ABRSM and GCSE Exams. She holds a Masters Degree in Music Education, Violin Performance and Teaching Training from Aveiro University. She has conducted workshops about Suzuki’s Methodology, Rolland’s Strings Methodology and, most recently, El Sistema Methodology. Angela started her music education at the age of 4, and at 11 years old, was accepted into the best Music School in Portugal - ARTAVE. She was the concert master at Aveiro University Orchestra and was invited to play with professional orchestras like Beiras Philarmonic Orchestra, Guimarães Orchestra and more. She has also performed in the best concert houses in Portugal, Europe and Asia as an orchestra and chamber music member. She brings her passion for music to The Hamilton International School, ensuring every child experiences music in an empowering way. Angela loves spending her free time exploring the world with her husband, researching, and caring about the world environment. She is also a foodie.
Remy grew up in France and, after completing university, decided to embark on a teaching career in the UK. This journey eventually led him to Qatar, where he has continued to develop his professional career. Remy has taught in the France, the UK, Switzerland, and Qatar. Remy holds a Bachelor Degree in Musicology from the Université de Bourgogne and a Diplôme d'Études Musicales (DEM) in performing the saxophone from the French conservatoire, which is equivalent to the Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM). Additionally, he has earned a Gold Medal in Music Theory from the Paris Conservatoire and the Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (DipABRSM) in performance. Throughout his life, Remy has been deeply involved in the music scene wherever he lived. He has been a member of various wind bands, ensembles (including quartets and octets), and has performed with both cover bands and original bands. His musical journey has been marked by notable performances, including playing at the 1st Qatar F1 Grand Prix, the MotoGP, and the FIFA World Cup.
Remy is bilingual in French and English, which gives him a profound understanding of the challenges faced by English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners. This empathy is one of the reasons he finds Qatar such an incredible place to work. He has been a dedicated teacher since 2006 and has always been actively involved in school shows. Alongside his colleagues, he has produced and participated in major productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Les Misérables, We Will Rock You, High School Musical, the Wizard of Oz here at Hamilton amongst many more. Remy enjoys sharing his passion for performing with his students, fostering their confidence to perform in front of their peers and the general public. and also inspiring their sense of curiosity and open-mindedness. Remy believes that Music, and more generally speaking the Arts are a very good medium for students to ignite a passion, to discover their purpose, and to realise their potential.
In his spare time, Remy enjoys playing music of course, but also reading graphic novels, playing video games, learning about cinema, and exploring different countries and cultures. As a French native, he has a great appreciation for good food from all around the world.
