Middle School students, aged 11 to 14 (Grades 6 - 8), progress with our prestigious International Curriculum underpinned by American standards, sparking curiosity, growing confidence and developing global citizenship.

Arab passport holders embrace their cultural roots through Arabic lessons while Muslim students take Islamic Studies classes, ensuring they preserve their traditional cultural identities.
Students develop leadership, communication, collaboration, responsibility, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence skills through hands-on learning, leadership roles and extra-curricular activities.
Students master English fluency while continuing to grow in their home languages, including Arabic, with additional learning opportunities in French and Spanish for non-Arabic speakers, immersed in a multicultural environment.

Developing an analytical mind
Students learn how to work with decimals, fractions, percentages, and basic operations. They explore algebra by solving equations, understanding patterns, and graphing lines and curves.
Geometry topics include studying shapes, angles, measuring area and volume, and using tools like Pythagoras’ theorem and coordinates.
Finally, students study statistics and probability by collecting data, interpreting graphs, and learning about chance through diagrams like Venn diagrams and probability trees.
Fostering a love of reading and writing
Students develop strong reading comprehension, analytical abilities, and effective writing skills through engaging texts, collaborative discussions, creative writing projects, and multimedia resources. With a growth mindset, students become thoughtful, empathetic and informed global citizens.
Learners develop  persuasive and narrative writing, learning how to argue a point and tell engaging stories. They practice writing news articles, focusing on clear and factual reporting. Throughout the year, students explore literature through novel studies, analyzing characters, themes, and plot. Additionally, they study poetry to understand language, rhythm, and expression.
Exploring through experimentation
Students grasp key knowledge, methods, and uses of science, while fostering curiosity and a sense of wonder about natural phenomena. They learn to explain, predict, and analyze the world using scientific reasoning, scientific literacy, and practical experimentation. Integrated sciences include classes in:

Understanding diversity through unity
Students cover history and geography, as well as beginning to investigate global issues, politics, and citizenship. They think critically and examine a range of data sources and evidence, challenged to analyze, evaluate, and report findings; to read, interpret, gather, and present data; to infer meaning and identify connections from historical sources and current affairs; and to be able to draw conclusions based on critical analysis of various sets of information.
Learners begin with map skills and prehistory, then learn about population, settlement, and the Age of Exploration. Students explore the Roman Empire, Medieval Europe, and American history. They also examine natural hazards, rivers, rainforests, and take part in project-based learning on empires.
Unlocking international opportunities
Arabic passport holders study Arabic with specialized Arabic teachers. Other students build confidence in French, Spanish, and Arabic B, developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Â
Topics include personal identity, school life, technology, travel, teenage social life, health and lifestyle, leisure, home and holidays, French culture, relationships, food, talents, geography of French-speaking countries, jobs and careers, and the world around us.Â
Learners develop cultural awareness and global understanding by using authentic materials, helping students connect with other cultures while exploring their own identity.
Building crafts through manual activities
Students explore top of the range resources to create amazing projects and acquire subject knowledge in relation to materials, tools, machines, and manufacturing processes. Throughout the different stages of the process, students also implement their knowledge of workshop health and safety, resource theory, design skills, and reflective thinking.
Learners actively draw on disciplines including mathematics, science, computing and art to complete their projects.
Developing digital literacy
Students develop an interest in computational thinking and apply their technical skill to a wide range of academic and real-life uses.
They learn about hardware and software through a hands-on approach and using sophisticated instrument, discovering how instructions are stored and executed within a computer system, understanding simple Boolean logic, and creating a range of content on websites, images, and sound.
Performing for the world
Students experience intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth by fostering creativity, confidence, and motivation.
Staying fit
Students develop basic skills through a variety of sports and competitive activities, promoting health, well-being, and lifelong fitness. They learn about teamwork, leadership, and personal growth while reinforcing cross-curricular links with math and science.
Students participate in a wide range of sports throughout the year, including athletics, badminton, basketball, football, gymnastics, health-related fitness, rounders or cricket, rugby or netball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball.
Students strengthen their ability to think critically, analyze texts, and communicate effectively in Arabic. Students engage with both literary and non-literary texts to develop deeper comprehension and interpretation skills.
They practice advanced writing and speaking through essays, discussions, and presentations, learning to express ideas clearly and support them with evidence. The program also prepares students to use Arabic confidently in academic and real-life settings by building strong vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.
In Islamic Studies, students deepen their understanding of Islamic beliefs and jurisprudence, strengthen Islamic identity, and apply values derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah to everyday life.

Learners' achievements are assessed through the adaptive Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test, which  measures academic progress in different subjects at three points during the year.
Throughout the school year, four reporting points ensure additional monitoring through internal attainment data analyzed for academic performance.
Communication with parents is prioritized through two scheduled parents’ evenings each year, direct emails from teachers, and extra meetings as needed.
Celebration assemblies at two points in the year recognize and celebrate student achievements.

Middle School students grow immersed in an English-speaking environment, accelerating their mastery of this world language. Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program supports learners who are new to the English language with tailored actions that facilitate fast fluency.
Arabic passport holders study Arabic, ensuring embrace of traditional linguistic roots.
Non-Arab students have the choice of Arabic B, French or Spanish as additional languages.
Learners take part in exciting overseas trips, including a ski trip to Sestriere, Italy, cultural, naturalistic and eco-driven discovery of Georgia and Sri Lanka, and adventurous activities like kayaking, wall climbing, and lor ropes in Sharja, UAE.
Students also engage with peers from all over the world with ISP's International Learning Programmes (ILOS), including ISP Scientists, ISP Artists, ISP Chess Masters, ISP Changemakers, and ISP Street Child United, confidently leading initiatives and having fun while developing an international mindset.
Middle School students start to take part in university and career mentoring programs, enjoying inspiring testimonials from successful speakers and participating to the Careers Week.
