Math

Solving real-life problems through logic and numbers

Students acquire essential reasoning skills through the Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract approach that makes math engaging and comprehensible with physical and visual aids.

Learners discover new mathematical concepts through concrete resources, then progress to pictorial representations, and finally solve problems using abstract symbols or numbers.

This method ensures a deep understanding and builds connections, mastering grade level concepts.

The Immerse, Analyse, and Write approach ensures in-depth comprehension and the final Big Write test serves as a demonstration of acquired skills.

Oral communication is emphasized as well, with dedicated sessions that teach students essential public-speaking and listening skills in a variety of contexts.

Students advance with the Read Write Inc (RWI) Phonics scheme, which includes both reading and writing training.

For Upper Primary students, the Fresh Start scheme is available as an intervention to address any gaps.
