Application submission

Submit the registration form along with key documentation, listed in our FAQs. Overseas applicant applying for Grade 2 and above will require the latest end of the year report to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Embassy and Qatar Embassy in the school’s country.

Assessment and interview

Our admission team will provide information on the assessment date and time, held online for overseas applicants. A one-off, non-refundable application fee of 300 QAR must accompany each application form from Primary to High School.

Offer

Successful applicants will receive an offer letter for a seat at The Hamilton International School within 48 hours of attending the assessment and providing all the required documents.

Acceptance

Once you receive an offer, you have one week to complete registration and to pay the registration fee to secure your place. The registration fee is QAR 5,000. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Admission FAQs

You can apply for admission by visiting our campus or submitting an inquiry online by clicking here.

To apply for admission, students must meet specific age and academic requirements for the grade they are applying to. Contact our team for detailed information on the required documents.

To complete the application process, families must submit the registration form along with copies of the applicant’s and parents’ passports, QID, immunization records, birth certificate, the last two years of school reports, a confidential form, and a parent letter of employment.

For overseas applicants applying to Grade 2 or above, the latest end-of-year report must also be attested by both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatar Embassy in the applicant’s current country of residence.

After submitting all the required documents and completing the assessment, we will send your application for review by the academic team. You will receive a notification about the outcome of your application after 48 hours.

We follow the Ministry of Education rules and regulations for application deadlines. Please contact the admissions office for more information.

If there are no available spots in your child’s grade, you will be placed on the waiting list. We will contact you if a space becomes available on the condition you have successfully completed the admissions requirements.

For Kindergarten, it is a play-based/observation assessment. A paper-based test (English and Maths) is conducted for Kindergarten 2 to Grade 2, and a CAT 4 assessment for Grade 3 to Grade 12.

No, we have many students who have come from schools with a different curriculum, and they make exceptional progress at The Hamilton International School. Our teachers and support staff are skilled in ensuring all students can fully access all aspects of the curriculum.
