Open Day - Build a Bear on 23rd August 2025
Students aged 14 to 18 (Grades 9–12) finalize their journeys by taking full ownership of their learning, achieving academic excellence, and gaining entrance to prestigious universities and careers worldwide.
Students advance to specialized classes, progressing with the American High School framework in Grades 9 and 10, building their own curriculum based on aptitudes and future aspirations.
By Grade 11 students choose to either continue with the High School Diploma Program or to start the IB Diploma Programme, both offering tailored programs and access to international institutions.
Arab passport holders embrace their cultural roots through Arabic lessons while Muslim students take Islamic Studies classes, ensuring they preserve their traditional cultural identities.
Students receive guidance in exploring their future pathways, receiving expert support from our University and Careers Counselor, including university placements, 1-to-1 counselling sessions, workshops, university and career fairs.
Students develop essential leadership, communication, collaboration, responsibility, and self-awareness skills through performing arts, clubs and sports, residential trips and team projects.
Learners take part in exciting overseas trips exciting trips overseas in Italy, the UAE, Georgia, and Sri Lanka, and connect with peers from all over the world through ISP's International Learning Opportunities (ILOS).
Students master English fluency while continuing to grow in their home languages, including Arabic, with additional learning opportunities in French and Spanish for non-Arabic speakers, immersed in a multicultural environment.
Students learn to lead with responsibility and kindness through clubs, sports, the Student Council, the Student Voice, team projects, and international programs.
Students finalize their years confidently with tailored interventions that provide support for those in need and additional challenges for learners identified as gifted.
Students express their feelings and embrace artistic creation through music, drama, and art through our nationally recognized Performing & Visual Arts Program.Â
Learners explore interests, develop new skills, and build confidence across a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including sports, arts, academic clubs, and leadership opportunities.
Students grow up in top-tier facilities areas, including bright classes, sports halls, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, science and ICT labs, design technology suite, specialized performing arts and music facilities, and a common room for Grades 11 - 12.
The Admissions team of our High School in Doha is available all year round to support parents inquiring about the application process, with additional support for international families.
Students embark on a four-year program with our High School Diploma Program (HSD). They earn credits by completing courses, with a minimum of 24 credits required for graduation. Students typically earn 7 to 7.5 credits per year, with electives allowing them to explore passions and develop specialized skills.   Each course contributes to a student’s GPA, calculated on a 0 - 4 scale.  In Grades 9 and 10, students take core subjects  alongside a selection of electives based on their interests, future goals, prerequisites, and academic performance.
All students must complete courses in the following areas to earn our High School Diploma Program in Doha.

Language acquisition at this stage focuses on communication skills, intercultural understanding, and global perspectives.
In the later years of High School these become optional subjects and students aim to refine their language skills even further. Â
Online tools like Pamoja allow for self-paced language learning to fine-tune skills and expand multilingual abilities.Â

Students learn to promote lifelong fitness, teamwork, and health literacy through a progressive program.Â
Embracing cultural heritage
The Arabic curriculum in Grades 9 to 12 is designed to enhance their critical thinking and literary analysis skills, enabling them to engage deeply with a range of literary and informational texts.
Students refine their advanced writing and verbal communication through structured essays, research tasks, debates, and formal presentations. The program prepares students for the academic and professional use of Arabic by strengthening grammar, vocabulary, and rhetorical expression suited for real-world and higher education contexts.
In Islamic Studies, students think critically about contemporary religious issues, understand Islamic jurisprudence and its foundations, and apply Islamic principles with moral and social responsibility.
Freeing the inner self
Students explore a wide variety of artistic disciplines, spanning from music, performances and visual representations. They reach full mastery and proficiency, becoming able to use different artistic languages with confidence and understanding.
Students can choose between Art I, Theatre Foundation, Band, and Solo Performer courses.
Students complete their journeys and prepare for their desired future paths choosing subjects among these areas.
Students can choose among: Research Skills and Extended Writing, Speech, Journalism, or Creative Writing.
Students can choose between: Calculus or Statistics.
Students can choose among: Advanced Biology, Advanced Chemistry, or Advanced Physics.

Students receive four published school reports annually, complemented by two parent evenings, for personalized feedback. The Leadership Team analyzes student grades and progress, comparing them to standardized assessments (MAP) in Grade 9 and 10.
Students' Grade Point Averages (GPAs) are monitored and analyzed after each reporting cycle to ensure continuous improvement.
All students must complete the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) for graduation, with guidance available for Grades 10-12. Students are encouraged to complete the SAT early in Grade 12.
Students actively develop essential leadership, communication, collaboration, responsibility, and self-awareness skills. Through our programs, they enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence, preparing for both academic and personal success.
Learners take on leadership roles through initiatives including the Student Council, Student Voice, Media Club, MUN Club, and ISP Changemakers, actively engaging in decision-making and school improvement projects.
Additionally, students participate in various extracurricular activities, group projects, and community service programs to build teamwork and social skills. Residential trips provide students with real-life experiences that foster independence, resilience, and cooperation outside the classroom.
Students grow immersed in an English-speaking environment, accelerating their mastery of this world language. Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program supports learners who are new to the English language with tailored actions that facilitate fast fluency.
Arabic passport holders study Arabic, ensuring embrace of traditional linguistic roots.
Non-Arab students have the choice of Arabic B, French or Spanish as additional languages.
Learners also keep practicing their home languages with online tools like Pamoja that allow for self-study progresses and lead to official assessments and certifications.
Learners take part in exciting overseas trips, including a ski trip to Sestriere, Italy, cultural, naturalistic and eco-driven discovery of Georgia and Sri Lanka, and adventurous activities like kayaking, wall climbing, and lor ropes in Sharja, UAE.
Students also engage with peers from all over the world with ISP's International Learning Programs (ILOS), including ISP Scientists, ISP Artists, ISP Chess Masters, ISP Changemakers, and ISP Street Child United, confidently leading initiatives and having fun while developing an international mindset.
Students get ready to enter prestigious universities and careers worldwide guided by our Careers, Guidance and Wellbeing Counsellor, providing 1-to-1 counselling sessions, organizing universities and career fairs, and offering support in using the Unifrog platform.
The counsellor leads parent information sessions to explain university application processes and timelines for those applying to universities worldwide and in Qatar.
In High School (Grades 9 - 10) students have a Future Pathways lesson built into their timetable. These classes focus on life skills and competencies for the future to prepare students to make more informed careers decisions when they are in Grade 11 & 12.
Service-Learning Program
Through meaningful community service projects, students have the opportunity to develop essential skills while making a positive impact in their local and global communities.

Participants can earn recognition at three distinct levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, based on their commitment and contributions to service activities. Each level requires increasing amounts of volunteering hours, creativity, and active involvement in different activities beyond the school curriculum.
Extended Essay
This self-paced course allows students to earn a High School half credit while engaging in a project of their choice, which can encompass a wide range of topics, whether theoretical or practical.
Each participant will work closely with a designated mentor who will provide guidance, support, and feedback throughout the project. Students are responsible for setting their own deadlines, honing their time management skills, and developing a sense of accountability as they progress. The Extended Essay not only cultivates crucial skills in research, analysis, and presentation but also prepares students for the rigors of post-secondary education.
