IB Curriculum School in Doha, Qatar

Students aged 16 to 18 (Grades 11 - 12) set on a path of global success finalizing their school years with the outstanding IB Diploma Programme. With a strong focus on multilingual excellence, practical projects, and skill-building classes, they leave school ready to enter international universities and careers.

Our IB Curriculum

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is built for students who want to go further - academically, personally and globally.

Each student selects six subjects - three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level - and completes three core elements that encourage originality, resilience, and big-picture thinking.

Subject groups

Students choose one subject from each group:

  • Language and Literature: analytical writing, literary critique and cultural perspective - all rooted in advanced fluency in English or Arabic

  • Language Acquisition: students gain real-world communication skills in Arabic, French, and/or Spanish - offered at beginner or advanced levels

  • Individuals and Societies: from historical trails to geopolitics, students use research, data and theory to make sense of our complex modern world

  • Sciences: through Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Design Technology, and Computer Sciences students learn to hypothesize, test and apply evidence

  • Math: students explore Math AA and Math AI with relevance to data, logic, and problem-solving

  • Visual Arts: students create, perform and critique through visual arts, music or theatre.

Core elements

All the students of our IB School in Doha complete three core components designed to stretch thinking, challenge assumptions and build independence:

  • Theory of Knowledge (TOK): students question how we know what we know - across disciplines, cultures and belief systems.

  • Extended Essay (EE): students choose a topic and produce a 4,000-word research paper - an academic challenge that mirrors university expectations

  • Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS): students plan and lead their own initiatives - from launching student-led podcasts to organizing community impact projects.
