Learning Beyond the Classroom: The Hamilton International School at the ISP Middle East Girls Football Tournament

The Hamilton International School was proud to take part in the first ISP Middle East Girls Football Tournament hosted at Durham School for Girls, Doha, giving students the chance to learn beyond the classroom through sport, teamwork, and shared experiences.

The tournament brought together teams from ISP schools across the region, with students from The Hamilton International School, Park House English School and Durham School for Girls,in Doha joined by Reach British School from Abu Dhabi for a day of U14 football, sportsmanship, and connection.

For our students, competing alongside peer schools provided a valuable opportunity to test skills under match conditions, practise communication and decision-making, and represent The Hamilton International School with pride. Just as importantly, the day encouraged students to build friendships beyond their own campus and experience the wider ISP Middle East community.

“ I absolutely loved the football tournament. Football has always been my passion and something I truly enjoy. Being able to compete and represent the school was an amazing experience for me.” — Leen G8

“ I really enjoyed playing football and having the opportunity to compete against other ISP schools. It was such a great experience and a fantastic opportunity to challenge ourselves and work as a team.” — Sophia G8

Across the fixtures, the team demonstrated resilience and focus, supporting one another through challenges and celebrating progress together. The tournament atmosphere was energetic and inclusive, reinforcing the positive role of girls’ sport in student wellbeing and confidence.
